You Remembered — Privacy Policy

You Remembered (“Remembered” in the app) is made by Land Run Brands, LLC. Remembered helps you remember birthdays and other dates, keep in touch, and prepare messages that you review and send yourself.

Your people and messages

Your people, dates, notes, draft messages, card signature, preferences, and contact history are stored on your device and shared with Remembered’s Home Screen widget. Remembered does not upload this information to Land Run Brands or RevenueCat. No Remembered account is required. Remembered does not provide its own cloud synchronization. Your device’s backup settings may allow Apple to include app data in device backups.

Contacts and calendars

If you choose to import contacts, Remembered reads names, phone numbers, and any saved birthdays or anniversaries to help you select people and prepare messages. Birthdays are optional. You can add people manually without granting Contacts access. Remembered does not modify your contacts. If you choose to check your calendar, Remembered reads yearly events that appear to be birthdays or anniversaries. It does not write to your calendars. Contacts and calendar information are processed on your device. You can manage these permissions in your device’s Settings.

Sending messages and reminders

Remembered opens Apple’s Messages composer with your chosen recipient, text, and optional card. You review the message and tap Send. Remembered never sends messages automatically. Apple and your carrier handle message delivery under their own terms and privacy policies. Remembered cannot read your message conversations. Remembered’s contact history includes messages recorded as sent through its Messages composer and contact you record yourself, such as “We talked.” Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. They do not use a remote push-notification service. You can manage notification permissions in your device’s Settings.

Purchases and RevenueCat

Apple processes payments for Remembered Pro. We do not receive your payment-card or bank-account details. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and restore access, manage Remembered Pro entitlements, and understand purchase activity, including revenue, renewals, cancellations, and refunds. RevenueCat processes purchase and subscription history, transaction identifiers, an automatically generated anonymous app user identifier, and technical information needed to provide its service, such as app version, platform, and storefront information.

We do not send RevenueCat your contacts, calendars, messages, notes, name, email address, or advertising identifier. We do not associate its anonymous app user identifier with a Remembered account. Purchase information is processed on RevenueCat’s servers and may be processed outside your country of residence. It is not stored only on your device. Family Sharing

Eligible Lifetime Pro purchases can be shared through Apple Family Sharing, subject to Apple’s settings and eligibility requirements. Family Sharing shares access to Pro features. It does not share or synchronize your contacts, dates, drafts, notes, or message history with other family members. Apple and RevenueCat process the purchase information needed to provide and update shared access.

Advertising and tracking

Remembered contains no advertising. We do not sell your personal information or use it to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising. RevenueCat provides purchase analytics. Remembered does not include a separate general-purpose analytics SDK.

Support communications

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever information you include. We use that information to respond to your request and provide support. Please include only information needed to explain your issue. You do not need to send your contact list or private message history.

Data retention and deletion

Your locally stored app information remains on your device until you remove it. “Delete everything” in Settings removes Remembered’s locally stored people, dates, and contact history. It does not delete contacts from Apple’s Contacts app, cancel subscriptions, or delete purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat. Removing Remembered deletes its local app storage. Device backups are managed separately through Apple.

Purchase records may be retained as needed to validate purchases, restore access, prevent fraud, and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. Support communications are retained as needed to handle your request and meet applicable obligations. To manage or cancel a subscription, use your Apple Account’s subscription settings. Deleting Remembered does not cancel an active subscription.

Your privacy choices

You can use Remembered without granting Contacts or Calendar access; change app permissions in your device’s Settings; delete locally stored people, dates, and history within Remembered; manage purchases and subscriptions through your Apple Account; and contact us with questions or requests concerning information we or our service providers process.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal information. Contact us to make a request. We may need information to verify and locate the relevant records, and some records may be retained where permitted or required by law. Because your contacts, dates, and drafts stay on your device, we cannot access or retrieve them for you.

Children’s privacy

Remembered is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and address the matter.
